Continuity Pack is provided under the MIT License. These terms additionally describe the optional Continuity Plus purchase and the limits of a recovery verification.

What the tool verifies

A successful check means the selected pack authenticated, decrypted, and contained files matching its recorded checksums. It does not prove that your application can import those files, that every business record was exported, or that the source system is recoverable. You should regularly perform a full restore drill in a safe environment.

Your responsibilities

• Choose the correct source exports and confirm they are current.
• Protect and retain your passphrase separately from the pack.
• Use a target with sufficient space and appropriate physical security.
• Review scheduled failures and test application-level restoration.

Continuity Plus

Continuity Plus costs $39 as a one-time purchase and unlocks the field-kit files described on the product page. It does not include hosted storage, managed backups, or a guarantee of data recovery. The free CLI’s pack, verify, check, restore, accessibility, and safety behavior remain available without purchase.

Payments and refunds

Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record. Checkout, receipts, taxes, and refunds are handled there. A refunded or reversed purchase revokes its license. A license is for the purchasing business and may be used on its own devices.

No warranty and liability

The software and materials are provided “as is,” without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for lost data, business interruption, or indirect damages. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
